Bad poetry while coping
through the heat of the day I was mostly sober
Break ups, could not get over
People that I barely know
Trouble where I should not go
You only have one way to grow
When you grow up with desert sorrow
No water, only Sun
Looking back at my life, real strange
Matter of fact, I spent night's deranged
Woke to the setting sun, sacrificed my time for fun
Time for fun
Old ideas I can't bear to listen
I don't care what I've been missing
Just one bad one upon the other
Only good, sound like my mother
My mother now I bare her soul
She left I was 5 years old
But she never let me feel alone
With her voice telephone
Singing, "Hey it's my long lost son!"
Wish we spent more time together, cherish what we have become
